Creating a story that incorporates the client's needs is my full responsibility as the creative director. I begin by developing a mood board. Secondly, I plan the photography shots with my photographer and videographer. Lastly, I scout the locations/models and coordinate the date and time for the production. Visually, I create a connection between fashion, art, and storytelling so the viewer can engage and resonate with my vision. Moreover, I try my best to be flexible and practical in working with the client's budget while staying on schedule and delivering professional results. Communication is always key to ensuring the client is comfortable from start to finish; so that we maintain a clear vision of the process until the finished product.

One-of-a-kind designs by MILLYORO are one of my brand's primary goals. What you get is never reproduced in another project. Instead, I create unique handcrafted accessories and garments that take more than 100+ hours to make. All items are sourced locally, from thrifting/vintage shops to boutiques; always customizing garments to fit the project's themes. Finally, the set design plays an essential role in my work and is the main component that brings everything together. Under our custom design, we can produce a set that compliments the silhouette and texture of the look. All pieces are personalized and fitted to the client, always representing the MILLYORO aesthetic.

My styling philosophy is to take all of my inspirations and edit them into something new. My styling captures romanticism and drama, which ties to the designers I look up to, such as Alexander McQueen, Thierry Mugler, and Margiela. My styling aesthetic is a mixture of current trends with archived vintage looks, and subsequently, big labels are never the primary focus. I love to mix and match eras and form a whole new identity. I prefer distinctiveness; I go for what catches my eye and speaks to me based on the story I am telling while maintaining a collective and cohesive look.
